About this object
This photograph shows a tram moving along Hastings Street in Napier. The tramways operated from 1913 to 1931, when they were replaced by buses. The Criterion Hotel is visible along the left side of the street. The Clarendon Hotel can be seen in the distance at the foot of Napier Hill.
