About this object
Postcard with a view of flooding in Napier taken on 19 May 1911. In the foreground a man in a horse drawn cart stands holding a loaf of bread. The name W H Carter appears on the side of the cart. To the left of the cart is a row of cottages. A child stands beside the front fence of one of the cottages holding a loaf of bread. Napier Hill is visible on the right side of the photograph. The street is possibly Millar Street.

There is a note handwritten on the back of the postcard.
