About this object
A photographic postcard of the Post Office and Telegraph building on the corner of Station Street [later Russell Street] and Queen Street in Hastings. The photograph is thought to have been taken around 1905. In front of the building there is a man sitting at the wheel of a motor car. Other businesses visible in the image are the London and Lancashire fire insurance company, and H [Henry] Williams & Sons, hardware merchants, plumbers and gasfitters, and general ironmongers.
