About this object
A photograph depicting the loading of wool bales from horse drawn carts into surf boats at Tora, Wairarapa. The wool bales were being transported to the large vessel visible waiting off the coast. The ship has been identified as the Mako on the back of the photograph. Two other surf boats are visible between the shore and the ship.
