Brief Description
a) The Studio: An Illustrated Magazine of Fine and Applied Art, volume 75, number 307, was published on 15 October 1918 and edited by Charles Holme. This number is the first part of a new volume. The magazine contains numerous advertisements for galleries, manufacturers, art supplies and art schools, as well as illustrated articles, exhibition and book reviews. All four colour supplements and the entire section of etchings by Lester G Hornby are missing from this magazine.

The Contents include: The Recent Work of Mr H Hughes Stanton, A R A, an article by Alexander J Finberg including ten illustrations; Six Etchings by Lester G Hornby, six illustrations; The Flower Paintings of Herbert Davis Richter, R O I, an article by W K West including eight illustrations; Studio-Talk, articles from correspondents in London, Dublin and Barcelona.
