About this object
A photograph of a team of men loading wool bales from a portable jetty on the shore to a small boat. The men appear to be rolling the bales along the elevated jetty directly into the boat. The boat would then offload the bales onto a ship further off the coast. This photograph accompanies a series of similar images taken along the east coast.
