Brief Description
The Studio: An Illustrated Magazine of Fine and Applied Art, volume 66, number 273, was published on 15 December 1915 and edited by Charles Holme. The magazine contains numerous advertisements for galleries, manufacturers, art supplies and art schools, as well as illustrated articles, exhibition and book reviews. A number of pages are missing from this magazine, including all colour supplements.

The Contents include: Mr Brangwyn's Mural Paintings in Christ's Hospital Chapel, an article by Arthur Reddie including twelve illustrations; Japanese Art at the Panama-Pacific Exposition, an article by Professor Jiro Harada including seventeen illustrations; Charles Robinson, Book-Illustrator, an article by Malcolm C Salaman including ten illustrations; Wall-Tablets and Memorials by British Sculptors, an article by A L Baldry including twenty-two illustrations; Alice Fanner's Lyrical Paintings, an article by C Lewis Hind including seven illustrations; Studio-Talk, a section devoted to exhibition reviews from correspondents in London, Liverpool and The Hague; Reviews and Notices; The Lay Figure: On the Cheerful Spirit.
