Brief Description
(a) The Studio: An Illustrated Magazine of Fine and Applied Art, volume 65, number 269, was published on 14 August 1915 and edited by Charles Holme. A number of pages are missing from this magazine including all colour supplements.

The Contents include: The Paris Salon of Fifty Years Ago, the concluding article by D Croal Thomson including sixteen illustrations; The Paintings of Oswald H Birley, R O I, an article by Arthur Reddie including ten illustrations; The New English Art Club's Fifty-Third Exhibition, an article including eight illustrations; The Panama-Pacific International Exposition and It's Meaning, an article by Professor Jiro Harata including eight illustrations; Recent Designs in Domestic Architecture, four illustrations; Studio-Talk, a section devoted to exhibition reviews from correspondents in London, Manchester, Paris, Venice, Montreal and Philadelphia; Reviews and Notices; British Artists Serving with the Forces: Third List; The Lay Figure: On Art and the National Spirit.
