Brief Description
The Studio: An Illustrated Magazine of Fine and Applied Art, volume 65, number 267, was published on 15 June 1915 and edited by Charles Holme. This is the first part of a new volume. The magazine contains numerous advertisements for galleries, manufacturers, art supplies and art schools, as well as illustrated articles, and exhibition and book reviews. A number of pages are missing from this magazine including all colour supplements save one.

The Contents include: The Edmund Davis Collection, a third and concluding article by T Martin Wood including fifteen illustrations; Some New Etchings by Mr James McBey, a note written by Malcolm C Salaman including seven illustrations; The Royal Academy Exhibition, 1915, an article including sixteen illustrations; Recent Designs in Domestic Architecture, an article including nine illustrations; Studio-Talk, a section devoted to exhibition reviews from correspondents in London, Copenhagen and Philadelphia; Art School Notes: London and Belfast; Reviews and Notices; The Lay Figure: On the Spirit of Caricature.
