Brief Description
The Studio: An Illustrated Magazine of Fine and Applied Art, volume 64, number 263, was published on 15 February 1915 and edited by Charles Holme. The magazine contains numerous advertisements for galleries, manufacturers, art supplies and art schools, as well as illustrated articles, exhibition and book reviews, and news from Londonderry art school. A number of pages are missing from this magazine including all colour supplements save one.

The Contents include: The Paintings of Leonard Campbell Taylor, an article by Herbert Furst including fourteen illustrations; The New Loggan Drawings of Oxford and Florence by Edmund H New, an article by Aymer Vallance including eight illustrations; The Drawings of Arthur J Gaskin, an article by Joseph E Southall including eight illustrations; Harold Stabler, Worker in Metals and Enamels, an article by Hamilton T Smith including twenty-seven illustrations; Belgian Artists in England, an article by Dr P Buschmann including nine illustrations; Studio-Talk, a section devoted to exhibition reviews from correspondents in London, Edinburgh, Copenhagen, Moscow, New York, Philadelphia, Washington and Tokyo; Art School Notes; Reviews and Notices; The Lay Figure: On the Treatment of Memorial Sculpture.
