About this object
Photograph taken in the aftermath of the Clive flood.

The photograph records the damage caused to a road at an unidentified location. The surface of the road has collapsed. In the background is a one and a half storey cottage with a corrugated iron roof. A second building and a damaged telegraph pole are located to the right. An unidentified man stands on the verandah of the cottage. The buildings are surrounded by debris.

The word Broadbent's has been written along the bottom edge of the photograph. This possibly refers to the owner of the cottage.
