About this object
A photographic postcard of Waipukurau township looking towards the hills. Ruataniwha Street is in the immediate bottom foreground running horizontally across the image. The photograph appears to be taken looking south towards Porongahau Road and Racecourse Road. Houses, and other buildings are visible below the rise. The frontage of Given's Shoes is visible on Ruataniwha Street at the centre of the image. The back of the Kosy Tea Rooms are visible opposite Given's Shoes. The side of the premises of R Staines and Son, House Furnishers is evident just behind Given's.
