A photograph of a temporary shelter on Stop Island, taken by Russell Duncan who travelled to Dusky Sound in 1910.

The photograph is mounted in an album containing images of New Zealand scenery. A note on the album page reads: Waikare's Galley and Cook. For Mr Appleyard and 6 men left to watch the wreck.
