About this object
View of the Clock Tower, Hastings, possibly taken in the late 1930s or 1940s.

Designed by local architect Sydney Chaplin, the Clock Tower was completed in 1935. Gardens have been planted in front of the Clock Tower. The photograph has possibly been taken from Russell Street. A railway line is visible in front of the clock tower.
