A hand coloured photograph of the Waikato River taken from Inspiration Point. Part of an album of coloured scenery images.

A description of the scene has been pasted onto the album page. It reads: Winding its way through the pumice plains. Looking down upon the Waikato River from Inspiration Point, which is 1000 feet above the water level, at a point on the road into Orakei-Korako thermal region, midway between Rotorua and Taupo.
