Napier's beautiful Marine Parade, said to be the finest waterfront walk in the Southern Hemisphere. The picture shows (centre) the famous Sound Shell, used for open-air concerts; at the right the famous Tom Parker Fountain, the Circular Bay, the famed Norfolk Pines and the beautiful lawns and flower beds surrounding the area.
