Two identical articles written by Thomas Clarkson for Break-In magazine and dated June 1979.
a) Article attached to cardboard cover entitled: Early Amateur Radio in Hawke's Bay circa 1920s by T R Clarkson. Note on inside cover states that Clarkson was awarded the Member of the British Empire in 1983 for services to amateur radio.
b) Loose article entitled: Early Radio Experiences in Hawke's Bay by Thomas Clarkson. Gives a personal account of radio transmissions in Hawke's Bay from 1922 to 1925.
