View of the Napier Branch of the Bank of New Zealand, situated on the corner of Hastings Street and Emerson Street, thought to have been taken around 1933.

Designed in the Stripped Classical style by Crichton, McKay & Haughton, the bank building was completed in 1932. The premises of Smith and Smith are located to the right of the bank.
