About this object
A photograph of the RMS Ionic, previously the SS Ionic, at Gravesend in Kent, England. The Ionic served on the United Kingdom to New Zealand route. It's name was changed to RMS Ionic in 1934 when the vessel was bought from the White Star Line by the Shaw, Savill and Albion Line.
