View of Ship Cove otherwise known as Meretoto in Queen Charlotte Sound otherwise known as Totaranui taken on 30 March 1902.
The photograph has been taken from the shoreline looking across the bay towards a bush clad hill. A pair of harakeke (New Zealand Flax) bushes are located on the extreme left of the photograph. Beneath the flax bushes a rock carved with initials is visible.
