Brief Description
A group of notes or memoranda relating to orders for transport. The documents were produced post 3 February 1931 Hawke's Bay earthquake. Many are produced on scraps of paper.

To: The Transport Officer. Signed: Harris, Assistant Engineer of the Public Works Department. Dated: 11/2/31. Re: lorry transport for C V Nattrass, repairing bridges for the Public Works Department in Taradale.

To: The Transport Control. Signed: K J Lamason on behalf of A Dinnie from the Public Works Department, Napier. Dated: 24/2/31. Re: supply of a 2 or 3 ton truck to cart salvaged material from the Napier Hospital to the salvage yard.

To: Transport. Signed: on behalf of P W Peters. Dated: 14/2/31. Re: supply of a carrier to Napier Citizens' Relief Committee Depot in Dalton Street.
