View of the Hastings Street Depot, a food depot that was established at Hastings Street School, Napier, following the Hawke's Bay earthquake on 3 February 1931.
The photograph records three men standing around a wooden table having a meal. The men are identified on the back of the photograph as John Biss, J Dick, who was the Town Clerk of Napier at the time of the earthquake, and George Brown. More people can be seen seated in the background.
