About this object
View of an unidentified wool store in Ahuriri taken following the Hawke's Bay earthquake on 3 February 1931.

The exterior walls of the three-storey building have collapsed as a result of the quake. Wool bales spill out of the building onto the adjacent site. Two motor cars are parked in the foreground.

The date 5 February 1931 is written on the back of the photograph.
