A head and shoulders carte de visite photographic portrait of an unidentified man. The man wears a woollen jacket, vest, shirt and tie. He has a thick moustache and mutton chop side burns. His body is turned slightly to his right. His gaze does not meets the camera.

The man is possibly a friend or member of the Russell Duncan family.
