Brief Description
Four cartage tickets from the Public Works Department (Stores Branch) dated 27 or 28 February, 1931.
The tickets request the supply of fuel to: Hawke's Bay Transport Company; Bate & Bell; Barry Brothers and New Zealand Express Company, and state that the fuel is to be charged to the Public Works Department account. The cartage tickets are signed by A H Hyde of the Transport office in Napier. The fuel was required during the aftermath of the 3 February 1931, Hawke's Bay earthquake.
