A photograph of the First Presbyterian Church, also known as the Free Church of Otago (completed 1875), Dunedin.
The Gothic style church has a dominant spire visible at the left of the image. The exterior consists of brick faced with Oamaru stone. The photograph appears to have been taken from Moray Place.
Buildings are visible on either side of the street corners. At the left of the image the back of a cart is visible with two dray horses. At the right of the image a man wearing a suit and hat is is standing in the street with his hands in his pockets.
