About this object
A full length carte de visite portrait of an unidentified woman.

The woman is standing turned slightly to her right with her right arm on the back of a chair. She wears a voluminous dress with a tailored bodice. She also wears a necklace and a hair pin. Her dark hair is dressed and worn up.

The table in the background at the left of the image has flowers, a book and other items of it. The woman is possibly a friend or member of the Russell Duncan family.
