About this object
A full length carte de visite portrait of an unidentified woman dressed in a silk gown.

She is standing in three quarter pose and her gaze does not meet the camera. She rests her right hand on a table.
Her hands, lips, eyes and jewellery had been hand coloured.

The woman is possibly a friend or member of the Russell Duncan family.

Date, 1860s.
