Brief Description
Letter from Reverend Charles Connor to his mother and father, Reverend Charles Connor. A later typed transcription of the original letter written in Waikari on 8 January 1894. He gives news of their surroundings, the church and how he has settled the carriage of goods by steam rail from Bluff and Christchurch. He also encourages his parents to visit, writing of how they could be accommodated in Waikari and what they could during their visit. He writes of friends, the community and the welcome they have received. The letter is signed: Your affectionate son, Chas (Charles) Connor.
