Object detail

Brief Description
Letter from Sheena Blundell written to Bob and states that she has enclosed some memorabilia from the early days of the Port Church in light of the upcoming 90th anniversary. The author also includes information about other documents relating to the Connor family including a carton and suitcase of sermons, diaries, and letters dating back to 1872 and a Jubilee 100 year booklet from Saint Paul's, Oamaru. The author also gives news of her family and her intention to attend the 90th anniversary.

The typed letter is signed with her first name only and is followed by a handwritten note explaining her lack of expertise when using a typewriter, but, in spite of errors, it is easier to read than her handwriting.

A further note in pencil reads: Sheena, daughter of Mrs Blundell, daughter of Rev. Connor.
