View of Iuahu house at Ruakituri in Hawke's Bay, taken on 13 November 1901. A note on the album page on which the photograph has been mounted identifies the house as the residence of Mr Mills. The house is of timber construction with a shingle roof. A chimney is located along the right hand side of the house.
A man and a woman, possibly Mr and Mrs Mills, pose for the photograph in front of the house. They are seated on the porch, in front of the main entrance to the house. To the right of the house, horses graze in a field.
