Brief Description
Letter and map dated 14 January 1933 from J F Brennan of the Jamaica Weather Service to C H L Pollock of the Hawke's Bay Philosophical Institute. The letter concerns the Kingston Jamaica earthquake of 1907.

Letter from J F Brennan acknowledging the receipt of C H L Pollock's letter of 25 September 1932 requesting information on the event. J F Brennan proceeds to outline general information of the earthquake, noting that 800 individuals perished and property loss was estimated at £2 000 000. He also suggests further reading on the topic.

Included is a map of Jamaica pointing out the Port Royale earthquake of 1692.
