Brief Description
Letters regarding appropriate clothing for staff working on the slaughter floor.

a) Copy of memo from Management Tomoana, Mr J S Coleman, to Wellington Management, dated 11 August 1966, re: Requests and Demands from our Veterinarian Mr B Thompson: hygiene regulations.

b) Copy of memo from Management Tomoana, Mr J S Coleman, to Wellington Management, dated 15 September 1966, re: Wearing Apparel for Slaughtermen. The wearing of old sports coats over their blue slaughtering singlets when coming to and from the dressing room to the slaughter floor unacceptable. Two pages.

c) Handwritten note, dated 15 September 1966, re: Slaughtermen and Labourers (Chain): all workers issued with white coats and pants. To overcome Mr Thompson's objection, pegs to be installed on both walls upon which coats can be hung.
