About this object
Postcard featuring a view of the homestead on the Elmshill Station built in 1862. The house was the residence of Frederick John Tiffen and his family. The homestead was destroyed by fire in 1890. The house is clad in timber weatherboard, with a shingle roof. A second building is visible to the left of the house.

A note on the back of the postcard is addressed to Frederick John Tiffen.
