About this object
View of a house, December 1911.
The building is thought to be the residence of Robert Coupland Harding and his wife, Sophia Sarah Harding (née Blackmore). The house is possibly located on Mataī Road in Wellington.
The exterior of the villa is clad in weatherboard. The roof is clad in corrugated iron. A note on the back of the photograph states that it was taken at Christmas in 1911. A group of people can be seen on the porch. The man on the left has been identified as Robert Coupland Harding. The woman immediately to his left is likely to be his wife Sophia. A note on the back of the photograph identifies the three other people as W Musker, Arthur and Hilda.
Photographer, unknown.
