About this object
View of a house, Napier.

A handwritten note on the back of the photograph states that the house was the residence of T B Harding Junior at Jervoistown or Greenmeadows. This possibly refers to Napier-based printer, Thomas Bennick Harding Junior, who owned a house in Jervoistown in the early twentieth century before moving to Park Road in Greenmeadows.

The photograph has been taken from the street, looking towards the front façade of the house. One side of the house is also visible. The single storey building is clad in weatherboard. The roof is clad in corrugated iron. A man and woman pose for the photograph on the front porch. They are possibly Thomas Bennick Harding Junior and his wife Mary Elizabeth Harding. A young child holds the hand of the male figure.
