About this object
Post card featuring a view of a house. A handwritten note on the back of the post card states that the house was the residence of T B Harding Senior. This possibly refers to Napier-based printer, Thomas Bennick Harding Senior who owned a house on Park Road in Greenmeadows around the turn of the twentieth century.

The photograph has been taken from the street, looking towards the front façade of the house. One side of the house is also visible.

The single storey building is clad in weatherboard. The roof is clad in corrugated iron. A name plate featuring the word 'Bernicia' has been affixed above the bay window on the right side of the house. A timber fence runs across the front of the property.

A man and a woman pose for the photograph on the front porch. They are possibly Thomas Bennick Harding Senior and his wife Jane
Coupland Harding. In the foreground, a child is seated on a gate post.
