About this object
A cut down studio portrait photograph of Mr John McKinnon, Runholder of Arapawanui. Mr McKinnon is seated with his right hand arm resting on a table or ledge. He is dressed in a three piece suit and a watch chain is visible from his waistcoat. He has a long beard and moustache and his gaze meets the camera. It appears there was another sitter in the portrait whose image was been lost when the photograph was cut down. The arm of the additional sitter is partially visible at the right hand top corner of the image.
