A photograph of damaged buildings taken after the Hawke's Bay earthquake on 3 February 1931. In the foreground a group of men look at the ruins of an auction room, possibly McGlashan's Limited on Tennyson Street, Napier. An unidentified barbershop is located to the right of the auction rooms.
