View of the T & G Building, on the corner of Marine Parade and Emerson Street, taken from Marine Parade.
Designed by Atkin & Mitchell, construction of the T & G Building took place between 1935 and 1936. At the time that the photograph was taken, much of the main structure of the building had been built. The building remains surrounded by scaffolding. An advertisement for W M Angus, Builder and Contractor, appears on the corner of the building. Several bicycles are parked in front of the building site.
