About this object
View of a house at Pāterangi in the Waikato.

A note on the back of the photograph identifies the house as the residence of E H Bowman. This possibly refers to Edward Henry Bowman, who farmed in Pāterangi in the early twentieth century. The single storey house is located on a hillside surrounded by trees. The exterior of the building is clad in weatherboard. The roof is clad in corrugated iron. Two women pose for the photograph in front of the house. One of the women is possibly Susan Georgia Bowman.
