About this object
View of a house at Pāterangi in the Waikato.
A note on the back of the photograph identifies the house as the residence of E H Bowman. This possibly refers to Edward Henry Bowman, who farmed in Pāterangi in the early twentieth century. The single storey house is located on a hillside surrounded by mature trees. The exterior of the building is clad in weatherboard. In the foreground, two women pose for the photograph. The woman on the left holds a bicycle. One of the women is possibly Susan Georgia Bowman.
Photographer, unknown.
Date, unknown.
