Brief Description
Handwritten receipts issued for meat issued to various relief departments, associated with the relief effort following the Hawke's Bay earthquake, 3 February 1931.

a) Meat outwards dockets, dated 11,12,13 February 1931. There are a multitude of receipts bound together by a metal split pin in the top left corner. Most of the receipts are made out to Inspector Thompson, V65 wagon.

b) Meat Summary 16 February 1931. Mutton 112¾ carcass & 925 pounds; beef 4½ bodies & 1200 pounds. There are a multitude of receipts bound together by a metal split pin in the top left corner. Most of the receipts are made out to Inspector Thompson, V65 wagon.

c) Meat Analysis 17 February 1931. Mutton 94 carcass & 975 pounds; beef 4¾ bodies, two sides, 1369 pounds, and one box kidneys. There are a multitude of receipts bound together by a metal split pin in the top left corner. Most of the receipts are made out to Inspector Thompson, V65 wagon.

d) Analysis Meat 18 February 1931. Mutton 91½ carcass & one leg of mutton; beef 1¼ bodies, 354 pounds. There are a multitude of receipts bound together by a metal split pin in the top left corner. Most of the receipts are made out to Inspector Thompson, V65 wagon.

e) Meat Analysis 21 February 1931. Mutton 132½ carcasses and 2 legs; lambs 3 carcasses; beef 9¼ bodies, 1 loin, 1 buttock, 680 pounds.
