View of a house on Tamumu Station near Waipawa in Hawke's Bay.
A note that accompanies the photograph states that the house was the former residence of E Collins Esq. Tamumu was occupied by Edward Collins, his wife Sarah (née Lovelock), and their family between 1851 and 1865. The property was then purchased by John Johnston. The two storey house is clad in weatherboard. Shingles are used on the roof. An outbuilding is visible at the rear of the house. A timber fence is located to the right of the house. A group of people pose for the photograph in front of the house.
