Brief Description
Manuscript of Havelock North land surveying.
Six items regarding land in the Havelock and Te Mata survey district area.

a) Manuscript
Letter from the Lands and Survey Department to Guy Rochfort regarding survey regulations, 1940, advising that the survey regulations have changed since 1938:
Regulation 2 requires that a surveyor shall comply with departmental rules and instructions issued by the surveyor General. Regulation 11 requires frequent checks of traverse bearings and that every boundary peg be connected to a traverse mark or witness mark.

b) Manuscript.
Handwritten sheet of paper with figures arranged in column form of traverse measurements and bearings. Chamber's brothers name appears at the top. District Plan 2170.

c) Manuscript.
Handwritten sheet of paper with figures arranged in column form of traverse measurements and bearings. C Ellison's name appears at the top.

d) Envelope.
John Lane Esq name on the back, lots 1 parts blocks 6 - 7, from Rochfort and Son.

e) Manuscript.
Two sheets handwritten with figures arranged in column form of traverse measurements and bearings of the Te Mata survey district with coordinates from Trig A.

f) Plan.
C T 62/134. Shows land lots and area sizes bordering the Herehere Stream. John Lane's name is on the back.
