About this object
A photograph of Dr Frederick De Lisle standing on the porch of a house next to a woman identified as Miss White, possibly his sister-in-law. Dr De Lisle is bidding farewell to his son, Flight Lieutenant Rodolph De Lisle, seated in the vehicle parked in front of the house. A woman and child are seated in the back of the car. Te Moemoea, Hastings, NEW ZEALAND is written on the reverse of the photograph. This is presumably a reference to the location of the house where the photograph was taken. The photograph is dated 10 October 1917.
