A fireplace with a timber mantle and a tiled register grate forms the centrepiece of the left wall. A large mirror hangs above the mantelpiece.
Among the furnishings that are visible in the room are a screen, an upholstered settee, and a table.
The house is thought to have been owned by Mrs Amy Hutchinson (née Large).
