About this object
Carte de visite photograph featuring a view of a house on the corner of Tennyson Street and Dalton Street, Napier.

The photograph has been taken from Tennyson Street looking towards the front façade of the house. The two storey building is of timber construction with a shingle roof. A picket fence runs across the front of the property. A sign is hung on the front of the gate.

The photograph was possibly taken in the 1870s or 1880s. At this time the house was occupied by Henry Charles Wilson, who ran his dental practice from the building.
