The photograph has been taken from the front garden looking towards the main entrance to the house. The house is of timber construction with a corrugated iron roof. A verandah runs across the front of the building.
At the time that the photograph was taken the house is thought to have been owned by Frederick John Tiffen.
A man poses for the photograph in front of the house. He is possibly a member of the Tiffen family.
