About this object
An image of the Amner's Lime Works float for the New Napier Carnival. The float is parked on a residential street with houses visible in the background of the image.The float is drawn by three dray horses. A man is standing on the cart attached to the harnessed horses. The covered float has sacks of lime and limestone on it. The banner on the back of the cart reads: On the Wave of Success! Amner's Lime!

The New Napier Carnival, held from 21 to 28 January 1933, celebrated the opening of Napier after the 1931 Hawke’s Bay earthquake.
